We load compost daily, 10am - 5pm BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, weather permitting.  Call James @ 205-478-1332 to schedule an appointment.

We are on Hwy 47 in the Chelsea/Columbiana area.  Address is 6720 Chelsea Road, Columbiana in Shelby County.  (BTW, the speed limit in our driveway is 5 MPH.)

Cash or Venmo is preferred.  Apple Pay or Zelle is also available.  We do not accept credit cards or personal checks.

We do not deliver personally, but we work with a couple of people who have dump trailers and will deliver locally (10-15 miles from our address) for $100 - $150.  Longer distance deliveries are quoted based on your location.  (We will put you in touch with them and you guys work out the details!)

A pickup truck generally holds 4-5 scoops, depending on the length of the bed.  A dump trailer will generally hold 7-8 yards (14-16 scoops) or about $300 worth.  

No, there is no volume discount because the tractor, and the tractor operator, have to work the same per scoop whether its 1 scoop or 100.  

If you have a dump truck and a loader, we will talk.

We do not bag it or provide bags, but you are welcome to bring your own contractor-grade bags or containers and we will be glad to let you borrow a shovel.  Minimum purchase 1 tractor scoop @ $20.  

No, it is not screened.  It is straight out of the 25 year old compost pile, so it may contain a clump of grass from the top layer.

No, it is 20+ years old and it looks/smells like black dirt.
