Meet The Hales
Jackie & James Hale
James & Jackie both grew up in Alabama riding American Saddlebred horses, but their paths didn't cross until the early 90's. They married in 1996 and coupled James' talent as a trainer and keen eye for a prospect with Jackie's background in Marketing and Advertising. As a public stable, they built one of the largest Consignment Training programs in the country while maintaining a busy show string, while always sticking close to James' love of developing young prospects.
In 2012 they started Southern Saddlebred and put on horse shows annually until 2024. They hung up their Professional hats in 2020, and currently both have obtained their Amateur status. JHS still has a small breeding program and they enjoy bringing along a few quality prospects a year.
